Compose It!

Composing your own piece of music. Future tone poets and festival November Music get to work together. For the fourth time, the project Compose it will take place. Young composers between 8 and 18 years old take part in a course where they will compose a new piece of music. This year, the musicians of Ensemble Klang took on the role of teachers. With instruments like the electric guitar, saxophones and piano, Klang is building a completely unique sound within the Dutch musical landscape. A nice challenge for the young composers.

In a series of four lessons, participants learn all kinds of techniques and tricks to further develop their musical ideas. In a rehearsal with Klang, the composers’ pieces are played through and the musicians give their feedback. This festival morning, the festive premiere will take place. In the Willem Twee Toonzaal, Klang will play the new pieces by young composers from Den Bosch and surroundings.
