Composer Portrait: Man and Machine

The Ensemble Academy of the Royal Conservatoire and Ensemble Klang, consisting of alumni of our conservatoire, are coming together for the second year to study ensemble playing and contemporary repertoire in depth. This project focuses on collaborations with internationally renowned composers. The theme ‘Man and Machine’ is the thread running through the programme. The musicians will play works by Rozalie Hirs, Cecilia Arditto, Tom Johnson, Steve Reich and others. Members of Ensemble Klang coach the students and perform part of the programme alongside them.
