De Volharding | Asko|Schönberg

Founded by Louis Andriessen and saxophonist Willem Breuker in 1971 to play in the streets and on the battlefields of social struggles, De Volharding (The Perseverance) is an iconic Dutch band whose spirit and repertoire are now brought to life by Asko|Schönberg and us. For Musica, we perform emblematic pieces from a repertoire of more than 300 works, and crown their programme with a film-concert, M is for Man, Music, Mozart, the result of a collaboration between Andriessen and British director Peter Greenaway.
