Le Guess Who | Thrift Hybrids

Claron McFadden and Matthew Wright’s Thrift Hybrids exist halfway through sonic and visual domains; the project intends to bridge the gap between past and present, live and recorded, bringing to the stage a “living-room-in-lockdown”. With McFadden zoomed in as a visitor, observer, or soloist, this project feels as much a product of the COVID era as a prediction of what live music may look like in the future.
