The Big Loud Thing X Gaudeamus with the Ensemble Academy (Aart Strootman)
In 2025, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of one of the world’s most important new music festivals, Gaudeamus, with The Big Loud Thing. Since 1945, the Gaudeamus Foundation, with the annual festival as one of its main pillars, has been committed to the future of composers, creators and music pioneers.
This evening, we are collaborating with students from the Ensemble Academy of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. During the first part of the evening, we will perform Kinetic by Aart Strootman together with the students in the Traptheater of Amare. The second part of the evening will take place in the Conservatoriumzaal, where the students will perform various works under the guidance of Joey Marijs from Ensemble Klang.
Richard Ayres & Silvia Borzelli will also be interviewed here about their work, which the students will perform.
Please note! Admission to both concerts is free, but for the concert in the Conservatoriumzaal, it is necessary to reserve a ticket due to the limited number of seats available. This can be done via the ticket link on this page.
